Confirm Registration and Change Temporary Password
Welcome to Christendom College Libraries' new Web Page. In order to make full use of all features of the new web page, you will need to confirm your registration and update your password. To confirm your registration, follow the Confirm Your Registration link in your Invitation email. This email also contains your user name and a temporary password.
Once you have confirmed your registration, you will need to go to the My Account page and change your password. The password must be 6-36 characters long, and it may contain letters, numbers and special characters, but must NOT include any spaces. Once you save your new password, you will be ready to use the new site.
If you did not receive the Invitation Email, please send a note to webtech@christendom.edu and put "Library Web Page Invitation Request" in the subject line.
On-Campus vs. Off-Campus
The Library Web Page includes some features available to anyone who visits the site and others that are only available to registered users. The basic features include searching the Library Catalog, getting basic help about the library and its collections and information about the library and its staff.
Some features, such as access to our subscription resources, require you either to be on-campus or to be logged in. On-campus users are those using computers on the Front Royal or Alexandria campuses, or connected to the networks on those campuses with a laptop or other mobile device (such as a smart phone or iPad). Off-campus users include anyone with a web-enabled computer or mobile device who can access our web page and log in remotely. This allows users to access most of the same resources available to on-campus users, enabling our online students, Rome students, and anyone else, to access the resources anywhere, anytime.
Asking Questions
If you have any questions about the website, you can send us a note via the Contact Us page at any time. We will make every effort to answer as soon as possible. We will also be adding a more formal Ask-the-Library page in the near future. This will allow us to offer a virtual reference service on the website, and aid us in building a FAQ page for the future.
Subscription Resources
Subscription resources are perhaps the most used section of the website, and thus have been place on the right-hand side of the main page. The links for the resources come in two "flavors"--one for on-campus users, and one for off-campus users. The "cupola" link
is taken from the main library's signature entryway cupola. Click on this image to access the resources when you are on-campus. The "house" link
indicates off-campus access, and these links will only work if you are currently logged in at the site. If you click on the link without being logged in, the system will re-direct you to the login page.
For the Future
